CRAFT STUDIO

This is a very belated post on CRAFT studio!!! This is my boyfriend, Mahmood Popal's, design company. The photos above are of Nyood Bar. Mahmood designed this space in collaboration with his friend Emil Teliki. I helped out a tiny bit by adding some writing to the walls. It looks a little bit like I am in detention.hhehe. Many more projects and photos to come!!!!!!

AROUND THE STUDIO
Constantly changing the inspiration that surrounds me while I work. Found the Save the Seals needlepoint at value village!!! The american flag is from my last trip to Gadabout Vintage. Just need to find a vintage Canadian flag to be evenly represented. The other photos are snapshots of what sits underneath my glass Ikea desk. Can you tell I like to save everything!!!

YVESTOWN
All Photos courtesy of Yvonne Eijkenduijn
I am a huge fan of Yvonne Eijkenduijn and her Yvestown blog. I think I came across her blog about three years ago while obsessing and searching for anything relating to Cath Kidston. I love the way that Yvonne balances Kidstons colorful patterns with white walls and pastel painted furniture. So simplistic yet whimsical.
